HVAC owner questions

How do I choose an HVAC marketing agency?

Compare ownership, scope, evidence and the path from inquiries to completed work.

THE DIRECT ANSWER

Choose a provider that can explain the specific problem it will address, how the work will be measured and what you will own. Ask for evidence relevant to the proposed service, explicit costs and a practical handover process. A guaranteed ranking or impressive traffic chart is not enough.

Ask what the proposal actually includes

Separate website work, local search, content, paid media, CRM implementation and ongoing support. Ask who answers inquiries and who fixes a broken integration. A marketing contract should not leave the office assuming that an unanswered lead belongs to somebody else. Get exclusions and approval responsibilities in writing.

Inspect the evidence

Ask whether a case study describes the same service and a comparable business. Check the period, starting point, spending changes and outcome definitions. Leads, appointments and completed jobs are different results. Ask what was not measured. Google’s provider-selection guidance is useful when evaluating SEO claims and unrealistic promises.

Keep control of the business assets

Confirm ownership and access for the domain, website, business profile, content and relevant accounts. Ask what happens at cancellation: exports, credentials under your control, documentation and transition support. Have the scope and commercial terms reviewed before committing. A low headline fee may exclude the work needed to make the system usable.

A practical example

Apply the same scrutiny to RevSet: our published Auspak account concerns qualification and callbacks in education consulting. Use the account to understand our delivery approach, then ask us to demonstrate the workflow proposed for your business.

What to do next

Send the same three questions to each candidate: What will you change first? What evidence will show it works? What assets and documentation will we retain? Compare the substance of the answers.
