YOUR TOOLS, WORKING TOGETHER

Built around how
your business already works.

We start with the software you use. The goal is a connected customer journey with a reliable record of what happened.

SEE IT IN PRACTICE

Connected means the next action actually works.

See what a useful integration must do when an event arrives normally, repeats, or cannot complete.

01 / 03

The calendar confirms a booking.

The booking tool reports a confirmed appointment with a booking identifier, customer reference, and timezone.

A successful connection is more than a connector being installed.

THE PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
The CRM is updated from the confirmed event. The team sees the appointment and the customer receives the approved confirmation.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
  • Source of truth: calendar booking
  • Match: customer and opportunity
  • Action: update and verify
THE NEXT ACTION

Verify the updated record and save enough event context to inspect the action later.

02 / 03

The update has not completed.

The calendar event arrives, but the CRM cannot accept the update. Treating that as success would hide the missing record.

A failure should create a recoverable task, not silent uncertainty.

THE PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
The failed action remains visible with the original event. The responsible owner can inspect it and use the agreed recovery path.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
  • Status: failed, not complete
  • Context: original event preserved
  • Owner: integration operator
THE NEXT ACTION

Retry under agreed limits after checking whether the action already succeeded. Escalate persistent failures.

03 / 03

An older update arrives late.

A cancellation has already been recorded when an older booking confirmation arrives. Applying it blindly would reopen the appointment.

Events can arrive out of order. The design needs an explicit rule for conflicts.

THE PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
The current appointment stays cancelled. The older event is recorded without replacing the newer confirmed state.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
  • Current state: cancelled
  • Incoming event: older confirmation
  • Decision: preserve current state
THE NEXT ACTION

Compare identifiers, event timing, and source-of-truth rules before applying the update.

Illustrative examples. No messages are sent, records changed, or appointments booked.

WHAT WE ASSESS

Connections that support
the actual workflow.

Your CRM

Can the record hold the contact, opportunity, owner, history, and next action? Can the workflow read and update the required fields?

Your calendar

Can it expose availability, confirm bookings, and report cancellations or changes? Which timezone and service rules are authoritative?

Your channels

Can the system receive inbound events, send approved replies, and recognize delivery, reply, or preference changes?

BEFORE WE PROMISE A CONNECTION

Check the capability.
Then agree the design.

  1. Confirm access.

Identify the accounts, plans, permissions, and supported integration methods available to the project.

  2. Verify the event and action.

Use a sample event to check the data received and the result of the required action.

  3. Agree the source of truth.

Decide which system owns each fact and how repeated events or conflicting updates are handled.

  4. Define failure recovery.

Specify how failed actions are surfaced, who reviews them, and how to retry without creating duplicate work.

WHEN A TOOL DOES NOT FIT

Make the tradeoff
visible before you commit.

Some workflows can use a supported connector. Others need custom integration work or a manual handoff. A platform limitation may require a different process or a separately scoped migration.

The proposal explains that choice, its cost, and the operating responsibility it creates.
